RIF. 3554: BUYER DIRECT MATERIALS

The Buyer Direct Materials is responsible for purchasing the production materials to use in the manufacturing process. He/she manages the end-to-end procurement process, from the scouting and relationship with suppliers to the creation of Purchase Order and monitoring of the deliveries. In carrying out his/her activities, he/she ensures compliance with the defined service level, policies, procedures and internal controls.
Purpose:
- Supports the preparation of the annual budget and forecast of purchases by providing the updated prices;
- Manages suppliers of direct materials (e.g.. periodic meeting, develop the relationship with suppliers;
- Manages competition tender;
- Scouting new suppliers to ensure business continuity;
- Identifies any critical issues in terms of unfavorable supply situations in order to propose continuous alternative sources or solutions that cover, even temporarily, the needs;
- Creates Purchase Orders;
- Monitors the purchasing process until goods/services are received, ensuring compliance with all agreed conditions, managing, together with the internal customer, any after-sales issues, ensuring that orders are properly formalized, and, if necessary, managing returns;
- Supports, in collaboration with the Quality Area, the evaluation process to measure supplier performance and compliance;
- Ensures compliance with the law and regulations in compliance with the provisions of the control model pursuant to and for the purposes of D. Lgs. 231/01 and the codes of conduct within own area of competence;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines;
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Pharmaceutical/Life-science sector.
- Fluent in Italian and English;
- Knowledge of the main productivity and collaboration tools (MS Office, Google Workspace);
- Knowledge of SAP software;
- Knowledge of ServiceNow;
- Knowledge of Jaggaer;
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulation: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulation and GxP procedures;
- Knowledge of the Procurement and purchasing management process, Supplier management process, Supply Chain Processes;
